1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how David Deak ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with this website and the Social Media Claude Skill (the "Skill"). We are committed to full compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and all applicable Romanian data protection law.
2. Data Controller
The Data Controller for this website is:
David Deak Website: daviddeak.com Email: [email protected]
For any questions about this Policy or to exercise your rights related to data we control, you may contact us at the email address above.
3. What Data We Collect -- and What We Do Not
We do not directly collect, store, or process any personal data through this website or the Skill. We operate no analytics, databases, or user accounts of any kind.
However, this website is delivered through a chain of third-party infrastructure providers. Each of them may independently process certain technical data about your visit as described in Section 4 below.
4. Third-Party Infrastructure and Data Processing
Because we use external hosting and network services to deliver this website, certain technical data about your requests (such as your IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) is processed by the following providers when you visit the site. We do not receive, access, or store this data ourselves.
Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare acts as the DNS resolver and network proxy for this domain. All traffic to this website passes through Cloudflare's network before reaching our hosting server. Cloudflare may log request metadata including IP addresses for the purposes of security, DDoS mitigation, and network performance. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and maintains a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Addendum. Privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
Netlify, Inc. This website is hosted on Netlify's infrastructure. Netlify may collect server access logs including IP addresses and request data as part of standard hosting operations. Netlify maintains a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement and processes data in accordance with applicable law. Privacy policy: netlify.com/privacy
GitHub, Inc. (Microsoft) The source code for the Skill is hosted on GitHub. If you visit the repository or clone the code, GitHub's privacy policy applies to that interaction. Visiting links to GitHub from this website is governed solely by GitHub's own policies. Privacy policy: docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement
We have no control over the data practices of these providers. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies for full details.
5. How the Skill Works
The Social Media Claude Skill is an open-source configuration and prompt context file. It runs entirely locally inside your own terminal via Claude Code. Any content you generate, prompts you enter, or files you analyse using the Skill remain within your local workspace. We have no access to your workflows, source code, or generated outputs.
Your interactions with Claude Code are processed by Anthropic, PBC, under your own user agreement with Anthropic. We are not a party to that relationship. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy at anthropic.com for information about how they handle your data.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We do not set or use any cookies, trackers, analytics scripts, or session-based technology on this website. We have no visibility into your browsing activity.
Please note that Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (__cf_bm or similar) as part of its bot management function. This is a technical infrastructure cookie set by Cloudflare, not by us, and does not track you for advertising or analytics purposes.
7. Legal Basis for Processing
We do not process any personal data ourselves and therefore have no legal basis to declare under Article 6 GDPR. The legal bases applicable to data processed by Cloudflare, Netlify, and GitHub are governed by their respective policies and Data Processing Agreements.
8. Your Rights under GDPR
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to personal data held about you:
- Right of access (Article 15)
- Right to rectification (Article 16)
- Right to erasure (Article 17)
- Right to restriction of processing (Article 18)
- Right to data portability (Article 20)
- Right to object to processing (Article 21)
Because we do not directly collect or store any personal data about you, we hold no records that can be retrieved, modified, or erased on your behalf. To exercise these rights in relation to data processed by Cloudflare, Netlify, or GitHub, you must contact those providers directly using the links in Section 4.
If you have a question about data we may theoretically control, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR Article 12.
9. Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Romania, this is:
Autoritatea Nationala de Supraveghere a Prelucrarii Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP) Website: dataprotection.ro Email: [email protected]
You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your EU member state of residence.
10. Data Transfers Outside the EU
We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area. However, Cloudflare, Netlify, and GitHub are US-based companies and may transfer request data to the United States or other countries. Each maintains appropriate transfer safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Please refer to their individual policies for details.
Your interactions with the Skill via Anthropic's platform may also be processed by Anthropic in the United States. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for information on their transfer mechanisms.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date. If we introduce any material change that affects how data is handled, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through a notice on this page. Continued use of the website after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
